During the regular season a game featuring Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Chicago Bears would not draw much interest and the same thing could be said for a preseason game, but this is a Thursday night game.
On Thursday night the NFL is king and even the Jaguars playing the Bears will get plenty of attention from football fans and sports bettors.
Here are three reasons to watch this game:
The Jaguars and the Bears both had good showings in the opener, but the Bears are still listed as sizeable favorites in this Thursday night football game.

The young rookie QB for the Jags looked good in his first game in the NFL. Bortles went 7-of-11 for 117 yards and has gotten the fans excited about the future of this franchise. He is getting highpraise from the critics.
Many believe that he is the most impressive rookie and that he will soon be the starter for the Jaguars.

His highlight reel from week one is something to see…..

….but he will have to be even better against a Bears team that is very aggressive on defense.Â
3. Is the Bears Defense Back?
The Bears have had problems on defense and arte a far cry from the Monsters of the Midway that they have been in the past, but fans have reason to be optimistic. To fix the problems from a season ago, the Bears are mixing things up on defense.

They had some bright spots in the opener against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Bears defense looked legit. D-line made Philly’s OL struggle & Jared Allen didn’t even play. They have depth too. DST is a sleeper.

It may be preseason but this should still be a great game to watch. The Bears are deep on defense and have one of the better offenses in the league. The Jags have a bright future but don’t look for Bortles to succeed against this Bears defense.
