Wildcats a Cinderella?
Bryant McIntosh led the way for the Wildcats in the first game of the opener as they took down Vanderbilt. The junior put up 25 points and ultimately sealed the victory. When they take on the Zags in round two they will have to be ready to play a very big team that is ready to advance in the March Madness brackets.
Bulldogs Focused on Final Four
Gonzaga is one of the most disrespected No. 1 seeds in the tournament and they have a history of falling short of the Final Four. This year they are ready to prove the doubters wrong and advance. In the first game of the tournament, the Zags easily advanced. They had a 20 point win over the South Dakota State Jackrabbits. Jordan Matthews led the way in that game as he put up 16 points in the victory. Gonzaga still has some room for improvement as this was only the fourth time this season Gonzaga has been held under 70 points and only the second time it shot worse than 40 percent (39.7).
Northwestern vs Gonzaga Predictions
The Wildcats have never been this far before. You can tell by how they celebrated the win over Vanderbilt that they are in way over their heads. They lack size and that could be big problems against a Gonzaga team that has been here before and will advance yet again with a blowout win over Northwestern.
Take Gonzaga and lay the points.
