Chicago Bears vs Miami Dolphins predictions
I am pissed at the Dolphins. I had the Dolphins +7 last week against the Bengals in the “bad beat of the week”. Now they face one of the best defenses in the league in the Bears who are off a bye. Here is the problem. The last time that the Bears were road favorites was against the Cardinals and they fell flat. The Bears are also 0-4 ATS after a bye week and the Dolphins are 4-1 ATS in the last five home games. The Dolphins play better at home, Ryan Tannenhill is not going to play but I do trust Brock Osweiler. He is calm under pressure and can lead this offense. If not I may never bet on the Dolphins again this year.
The line movement obviously reflects the questionable status of Ryan Tannehill.
Fun fact: Brock Osweiler is 2-0 as a starter vs. the Bears. 2015 with the Broncos and 2016 with the Texans, throwing 4 touchdowns and 1 pick combined in those two games vs. Vic Fangio’s defense.
