The Auburn Tigers lost to the Tennessee Volunteers last week and now they have to try and regroup for a road game against the Rebels. The Tigers allowed Jarrett Guarantano passed for over 300 yards against this Tigers defense and that could be a big problem when this team heads to Ole Miss. The Tigers are 0-6 against the spread (ATS) in the last six games against a team with a winning record and they are also 1-5 ATS in the last six overall.
Auburn still has a hangover from the Volunteer beating and will lose again this week.
College Football week 8 ATS picks: Ole Miss
The North Carolina Wolf Pack have the tough task of going to Death Valley to take on Clemson. Both teams are undefeated so this could be one of the best games of the week. This is the Super Bowl for the Wolf Pack and if they beat Clemson they would be favorites for the rest of the year. If they have any chance to make the playoffs they need to win this game. The Pack are 5-1 ATS in the last 6 games in Clemson and the road teams is 13-5 ATS in the last 18 meetings. Take a shot on the Pack plus the points.
College Football week 8 ATS picks: NC State
Why does everyone overlook the Pac-12? They have some very good teams and Washington is one of them. The Huskies lost in Oregon in overtime, but that is a very tough place to play football. The Buffaloes of Colorado were exposed against USC and they have to hit the road to try and get it back together against a team that is even better. The Buffaloes are 17-35-1 ATS in their last 53 games in October and the Huskies are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games following a game they lost against the spread. Browning gets Washington back on track with a big win.
College Football week 8 ATS picks: Washington
It’s back to the Big Ten for a rivalry game to wrap up the picks for this week. The Wolverines took down the Badgers and the Spartans trumped the Nittany Lions to set up this quality matchup. The Spartans have owned this rivalry as the Wolverines are 1-10 ATS in the last 11 meetings overall and that includes a 0-5 ATS record in East Lansing. The Spartans beat Penn State without RB LJ Scott and WR Cody White and they are winning by controlling the clock. They know how to beat Michigan and they will do it again this weekend.
